PSU sailing: Pirate Cup

Hey Guys,

Pirate Cup is a JV Regatta the weekend after St. Francis, so April 10th and 11th.  This is the same weekend as Coed Champs, so Alden, Tom, Nick, Kristine, and I can't go, everyone else can and should though! It would be awesome if we could get as many PSU sailors at this regatta as possible because it would be a great opportunity to sail in a less competitive fleet.  We need to confirm how many boats we will have at Pirate Cup as soon as possible, tomorrow would be great, so please email me back ASAP!

PSU sailing: NW Coed Champs--who's going?

Hi, Folks--

Because of some weird stuff that's going on with renting vehicles for
this term, I need to know ASAP if you are considering attending NW Coed
Champs on April 9-11. It's at everybody's favorite venue, Sail Sand
Point in Seattle. If you are considering going, let me know via email or
at practice tomorrow (3/30). It's OK if you back out later, but I need
to hand in a list to the Rec Clubs office on the morning of April 2nd.

Sailing 'Round the World

George Smith (Nobel Prize in Physics 2009) and Janet Murphy retired
and spent seventeen years sailing around the world in a 31' sailboat,
Apogee. A brief description of the boat and voyage will be given
with examples of what life is like both at sea and when ashore.

PSU sailing: Driver Training

Hi, Folks--
There are two driver training sessions left this term. I'd appreciate it
if as many people as can make it would go to these, so I don't have to
worry about whether we're taking enough drivers on any given event. This
is especially important given the fact that three of our certified
drivers (Tom, Nick, Sky) will be graduating at the end of Spring Term.
The training is super easy, takes an hour, and costs nothing. All the
sessions are held in the CREC conference room in the new Rec Center,
room 210.
There are training sessions on March 3rd and March 8th at 11:00 AM.
Bring your driver's license and a pen.
