Fwd: PSU sailing: Practice Friday, and Cougar Cup
Hey guys,
Here is some more info on cougar cup. We will leave after practice Friday and stop for dinner on the way. We will stay in tents that I will bring. There will be bathrooms, but no showers so I reccomend bringing a stick of "sailor shower" (deodorant).
Here is a list of other things to bring:
-sleeping bag
- rain jacket
-$$ for food
- advil for the morning
- towel
- change of warm clothes for after sailing
There will be place to buy food for breakfast and lunch. We will probably be eating diners as a team at the reeturant.
John and will, I need your student ID numbers asap. Please call me with them when you get this, or text them to me. 925-787-2966
A big thanks to john and sky for agreeing to help me move that wood on Wednesday
See eveyone going to cougar cup Friday at 2, and everyone else at 3:30

Tom;
Thanks for sending this out.
What will we need to bring for next weekend? I know you mentioned that you're getting tents, but what sort of facilities will be available in the area? Will there be places to eat and/or shower? Are there any towns in the vicinity?
Regards,
Will

Hey Sailors,
I've had a couple questions about practice this week and Cougar cup
next weekend, 19th - 21st, so I thought i would clear up any
confusion. We will be practicing only on friday this week. We
usually start practice at 3:30, however we have a lot to do this
friday before we can leave. I would like everyone planning on going
to the regatta to be at practice @ 2 pm so that we can load up boats
and get ready to go. This will give us enough time to practice a bit
before heading out. If you absolutely can't make it at 2, please
contact me. Also please come to practice with all of your gear and
everything you need for the weekend, as there will not be time to go
home after practice to grab your stuff.
If you are interested in coming to practice, but aren't planning on
going with us over the weekend, please come to the club at 3:30. The
more people on the water, the more prepared we will be for the coming
race.
Here is a list of the people I have going:
1. Tom
2. Adam
3. Josh
4. Justin
5. Sky
6. Jordan
7. Will
8. John
9. Katya
10. Zach (maybe)
The absolute drop dead time for backing out is tomorrow (monday) at 3
pm. I must turn in the paperwork by then. If you back out after that
we won't have enough people to fill two boats. There will be a
penalty, such as not being able to attend a regatta in the future.
sorry to be so harsh, but we have had problems with people canceling
last minute.
Sorry for the long winded email, but I have one more thing. A small
amount of work needs to be done at the club that involves moving some
wood. It would probably take 3 people less than 20 minutes to
complete. The club needs us to do it as soon as possible because they
are having a fire inspector come down and it doesn't conform to the
fire code. If two other people are free to help me this week it would
be much appreciated. I am free tomorrow, monday, as well as
wednesday. let me know what works for you and we can arrange to meet
down at the club. Thank you. As always, don't hesitate to email or
call with any questions,
