Sailgroove to Stream 2010 College Nationals Live
MADISON, W.I. (May 24, 2010) – For the second year running, the Spring National Championships of the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) will be available for live viewing on Sailgroove.org. The sailing website, which also covers major college regattas throughout the fall and spring seasons, will provide daily coverage of the ICSA Women's National Semifinal and Championship, ICSA / APS Team Race Championship, and ICSA / Gill Coed Dinghy Championship all hosted by the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI from May 25 to June 3, 2010. Coverage for the nearly two weeks of regattas include daily live morning analysis, live all-day coverage of the ICSA Women's Championship and ICSA / Gill Nationals, and recorded race highlights and interviews with the sailors available on-demand for each of the four events.
This year, Sailgroove.org will simulcast its live and recorded video coverage to 2010nationals.collegesailing.org, the official website of the 2010 Nationals and the newest addition to the network of websites built by Sailgroove and serving Sailgroove video. The official website also provides a detailed schedule, a live Twitter feed, live results, selected photos from GTSphotos.com during the event and other features provided by the host school.
Both 2010nationals.collegesailing.org and Sailgroove.org will feature a high-quality live stream during select events with views from the shore of Lake Mendota and on the water using FloLive, the state-of-the-art web broadcast system that allows for broadband quality web streaming from the racecourse. Sailgroove's Chris Love and a team of correspondents will bring the events to life with expert analysis and up-close interaction with the elite competitors. Look for special guests such as Olympian Sally Barkow, an All-American and ICSA Women's National Champion herself.
