Sponsored Sailor Program  West Coast Sailing is now accepting applications for our 2012 Sponsored Sailor program. From November 1st to December 15th, 2011 sailors can apply to be a member of our sponsored sailing team! We are looking for select sailors who exhibit not just exceptional talent, but also the Corinthian spirit of our sport. We anticipate having sponsored sailors based out of multiple locations on the West Coast. Sponsored sailors will receive varying levels of support from us: Apparel, Parts, Sails, Accessories and more will be given to our team members. We support youth sailing on many levels nationwide, and this is our chance to provide individuals with the support they need to reach new heights in their sailing careers. 
Cold Weather Sailing  Thinking about continuing your sailing into the late Autumn and Winter months? Wearing appropriate cold weather gear is the key to extending your season and feeling comfortable on chilly days. We carry a great selection of neoprene and thermal tops and bottoms to suit a variety of sailing conditions.

Internal Happenings @ West Coast 2011 has been our busiest year ever. Earlier this week we had over 70 boats in our warehouse. We are starting the process of looking for a larger building.  The team here is installing new order processing software, and our website will get a major update after the holidays. Chris and George traveled to the Annapolis Boat show to help with the RS Sailboats booth and check out the show! It was great to see a lot of dinghies and many of our favorite companies like Gill, Ronstan, Henri Lloyd, and more. We've updated the sponsorships section of the website and we're pleasantly reminded of all the events we've sponsored this year!
