PSU sailing: Recap from meeting yesterday
Here is what we talked about yesterday at the meeting.
1. Practice time will be Wednesday and Fridays at 3:00 pm starting
Wednesday the 28th
2.if you need to update your roster info (emergency contact, phone,
email) please email Adam at ajwhitex@gmail.com
3. Please look over the racing schedule at nwicsa.com and email Adam
what race you would like to go to. Sign up must take place 2 weeks
before a regatta and people dropping out within 2 weeks of a regatta
will be penalized.
4.dues are $50 and can be paid to Adam via cash, check, or charged to
your student accout
5. New leadership. As Adam will be graduating at the end of the term,
I feel we need to nominate a new commodore now to learn from him
before he leaves. Sky Cunningham was nominated. However objections
were raised since he will be graduating at the end of spring term.
Since objections were raised a vote must be taken were ALL people on
our roster must be present. I prospose that we do this on Friday the
30th at practice. Will everyone be able to make it?
6. Fundraising/ donation- we need to raise money! I need everyone to
email julia 10 named and address. We will be sending out a letter
asking for donations. Please only appropriate names and adresses.
